To follow on from our much-enjoyed Team Snow Retreat’s Pick of the Pistes<\/a> we have chatted with some of our lovely guests and they have given us a run down of their favourite runs across the 3 Valleys<\/a> …<\/p>\n

John B\u00a0– Jersulalem<\/strong><\/h4>\n

The best run in the 3 Valleys must be Jerusalem. It is a wide red, although in lots of places it is only a blue. It usually is very quiet and so you can do lots of wide curves and enjoy the scenery without being disturbed by other people. However there are some steep sections to get up some real pace to get my adrenalin going ( certainly for an Old Coddger ) and there are good restaurants \u00a0to stop at to replenish ones energy.<\/p>\n

\"image2\"Tracie – Creux<\/strong><\/h4>\n

This run is a story of two halves! The top half, often busy, and developing a few soft moguls after new snow, but wide enough to pick a good line down. Then the bottom half, after the Chanrossa and Marmottes chairs which most people seem to take back up (missing the best bit!), is a fast and rolling, tree lined wide track, where you\u2019re likely to clock one of your best speeds of the week. Two chairs at the bottom offer you the choice of going to Courchevel (1850)<\/a> or Courchevel Moriond (1650) at the end of the run. Or ski on down to Courchevel Village (1550) if you\u2019re prepared to pick your way through the forest!<\/p>\n

Hamish & Muriel –\u00a0Fred Covili<\/strong>\"Muriel<\/h4>\n

We discovered this piste\u00a0in Val Thorens\u00a0really late on, years after we\u2019d been coming to the 3 Valleys. Blue sky day, perfect snow, and it just blew me away. Perfect blend of challenging top section, opening into a big wide flattering lower third. Full sunshine, and it\u2019s usually empty.\u00a0 We skied it all afternoon\u2026<\/p>\n

Jack G – Biollay<\/strong><\/h4>\n

My favourite is Biollay as you can point straight down and fly! Speed and a bit of air on the way. Love it. Love it. Love it. Great way to end the day if you want to be close to Le Coqs lift to head home to La Tania<\/a>.<\/p>\n

Steve, Graham, Ben, Joe, Luke and Ed\u00a0– Dou Des Lanches<\/strong><\/h4>\n

This oft forgotten Black is simply a joy, it opens with a sharpish drop in, then slips into racing curves and beautifully quick steeper sections . When Dou Des Lanches has been groomed it’s a must, when it’s not been groomed it’s still a must and provides a nice technical challenge. This is truly a Black to release the handbrake on and as an added bonus you can run straight into the best Blue in the 3 Vallees ‘Foleyeres’, and straight down for a beer at the Pub Le Ski Lodge<\/a>\u00a0in La Tania.<\/p>\n
