Snow Retreat’s helpful guide to La Tania, Courchevel and Three Valley Lift passes..
Opening dates
Courchevel kicks off the winter season on Friday 5th December 2025, with the ski lifts officially opening for the first runs of the year. La Tania will follow a day later, on Saturday 6th December. That means skiers can enjoy a full two weeks on the slopes before the busy UK school holiday period begins — perfect for making the most of quieter pistes and early-season snow.
The standout upgrade in Courchevel this season is the brand-new Chenus lift. Designed to be faster and more comfortable, it offers skiers seamless access directly from the piste. It will become the go-to choice for those heading back to La Tania at the end of the day.
2025 – 2026 Three Valleys and Courchevel main season Lift Pass prices
If you didn’t make it to Courchevel last season, you may have missed some welcome updates to the lift pass pricing. The structure has been simplified, making it easier to choose the right option.
One of the biggest changes is the child pass, which now covers skiers up to 18 years old (previously capped at 13). After being called a junior pass last year, it’s reverted to the more familiar child pass name this season.
There’s also more flexibility for families: family passes are now available for groups of three, with just one adult required. This is great news for single-parent families, or for families where only one adult is hitting the slopes.
Sadly, discounted senior passes for over 65’s and free Three Valleys passes for over 75’s are a thing of the past.
We are just waiting for confirmation from Societe des Trois Vallees that single valley passes for Courchevel and Meribel will remain free for over 75’s.
As in previous seasons, skiers with a Courchevel lift pass can still purchase a Three Valleys day extension. However, if you’re planning to ski beyond Courchevel, it usually works out better value to go straight for the full Three Valleys 6-day pass.
Early and Late season
Discounted prices for early and late season. The early weeks of the season can be an excellent time to hit the slopes…
All prices are correct at time of writing. The lift pass company, Societe des Trois Vallees, has the right to change them.
